Reintroduction

Oh hey there, haven’t posted on here in a while. It’s not that I’ve been busy; it’s just that I have simply forgotten. So, I will update you a bit on what has happened since September.
Last semester I mostly focused on making friends at college and dealing with classes I didn’t want to take. Eventually I passed those classes and now I am less frustrated with school and have time on my hands, so I hope to be able to blog.
Over the winter break, I went on a trip to VA to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins. It was nice because I haven’t seen them in a while and visit a really cool part of Richmond. Eventually my family and I headed back to Maine, but encountered problems because of a snow storm. We had planned to stay the night in PA, but instead had to drive throughout the night to avoid the storm. Back home, I hung out with my friends and enjoyed not having any work to do.
When I got back to Hofstra, I decided to focus a lot on writing scripts for TNL, my university’s version of SNL. It’s been going great so far; I have written at least five scripts this semester so far and have been quite active with the club. Also, my friend Peighton and I have been talking of making a YouTube channel as another way to entertain. We haven’t quite worked everything out yet, but I hope it goes well.

So, you’re pretty much caught up now. I’ll update my blog when I feel like there’s something that needs to be said.

Introduction

Hey, I decided to start blogging again on a whim. For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Alec Buchina. If someone had to describe me to the police, they’d say I’m white, have short brown hair, glasses, that I’m six feet tall and also a wannabe hipster. I am from southern Maine, but last year I lived in Istanbul and now I live in Long Island, where I attend college as a freshman.
So let’s move onto some more personal details. I consider myself odd for a plethora of reasons, but the most obvious is that I ride unicycles. Often. It is my main means of transport other than walking. I currently own four. Another thing about me that everyone should know is that television is one of my favorite things. I am in fact going to make it my major as soon as I can. I have been writing a script for my university’s sketch comedy show, but with the little amount of writing experience I have, I doubt it’ll be any good. I am also starting to write my own stand-up routine. My dream job is to be a TV actor and comedian.
I wanted to start writing a blog because I want to keep a log of sorts about my life. In the future, I want to make a comic or animated webseries about my college years, and keeping a track of what goes on will certainly help. This blog will be mostly for me, but if I get a decent amount of readers or if people contact me I will dedicate myself more to this.
I guess that wraps things up quite alright, so this is the end of the post.
